ALB Journey 4/26/10

Busy day. Working on final commitments for the Leadership Conference which is rapidly approaching and getting ready for tonight's conference call. I have volunteered to coach a Spark Team, hope that comes through, would really like to jump in and make a difference for all of us on the team! I am working on my speech for Toastmaster's for next week; the icebreaker. Have a conference call at 11:30 and another at 5:00; this is like a regular job! Busy days, all.

Yesterday was an a-ha day. Attended a good session on the web about getting clients for your coaching business, sent out several resumes and started a business plan using SBA's model as my road map. The road to change is like any other road, one needs a road map to help crystallize the end result. I am still pursuing a regular job but envision a coaching practice to help me help others on their life journey. Small steps...

Just finished a webinar (love Meetings TO GO) about marketing your business. I love these energetic people I have become associated with these past few months. Bright, curious, energetic, giving and passionate about what they do. The positive energy is catching. No facade, no toxic people or atmosphere, how refreshing it is!

I received word today that my nephew, Benn, has found employment. Hurray and congrats to Benn for staying on task. This is great news for all and gives courage for those of us still looking. UPS is lucky to have you and I know you feel that you are fortunate to have UPS!

It is truly amazing the people I have met since early December. I never would have had the opportunity to branch out and meet these wonderfully gifted people had my fate been different. Now, if we can get everyone back to work, nothing will hold us back or our nation. Watch out once we become fully engaged.

Met with Leadership Group yesterday. I am on the team to bring in sponsor donations. Looking forward to working with this group and others. The Leadership Conference is bound to be dynamic!
