Last day of the year and I am looking forward to a healthy and happy New Year. To say this decade was filled with challenges is an understatement. 9/11, Katrina, wars, tsunamis, H1N1 to name a few, I am confident in saying better times must be ahead of mankind. May our carbon foot print leave less of an imprint, may we be kinder to one another and look for the good in everything we do. Happy New Year one and all.

One must keep up once sense of humor, I created this blog then forgot how to get to the blog. Oh well, all's well that ends well. Here I am back at it. I have spent the last few days working on my network contacts through LinkedIn. Today I need to work on the book, do some homework for AA Careers and hit the employment ads again.

ALB Journey December 23, 2009

New journey after being laid off work. Never happened before and I trust it will never happen again. I don't think companies realize how they can impact one's life with their actions. This is going to be an interesting journey and I want to capture the moment and look back a year from now to reflect on everything that has taken place. I still have more to do than time, how did that happen? I am in the process of writing the experinces down and recording all that I am learning during this process. My goal is to get a published book out of this to help others who find themselves without employment. There are so many tools and support groups available and just good information that others need to know about. Thank you CPC for being there for all of us and all of us yet to come!
